Note: This piece was built upon a poetry form called an Acrostic which is a poem or other form of writing in which the first letter, syllable or word of each line, paragraph or other recurring feature in the text spells out a word or a message. In this case each first letter of each first word of each line is a letter in spelling the phrase, Entanglement Theory.
Entanglement Theory:
If two particles are “entangled”, so quantum mechanics says, any tinkering with one can cause an instantaneous change in the other, no matter how separated they are.
Empty, some might say, but look again
Now what do you think? Sharp appearance wrestling a head full of sharp sounds
Tick, tock, tick, tock in a web of noise
And who is she?
Naked but utterly private
Greeting day and night separately, yet knowing they’re entangled
Leveraging dawn for a draught of string theory
Everything is inside, until it’s gone
Music becomes the filaments of a spider’s web
Exacting, like a skein of wool, red rivers that flow.
Needing nothing but the hectic symphony of thoughts
Trapped is only one way to explain a violin caught inside its scratches
